I am an Integrative Child Psychotherapist based in Southeast London, with many years experience. I have worked in schools and private practice. I work mainly with primary school aged children.
My work as an integrative psychotherapist is informed by a number of theoretical approaches, and as
a child therapist I work largely with play, and the arts – drawing and painting, stories, play-doh,
puppets, and sand tray. These are effective and gentle ways in which children can express
themselves, and process distressing experiences and troubling thoughts and feelings. I am very aware
of the mind/body connection, and sometimes include Somatic Experiencing Therapy and EMDR
Therapy in my work.
I help children with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, family break-up, bereavement and
trauma. My initial aim is to help the child feel deeply seen, heard and understood. Within the safety
of the relationship that forms, we deal together with whatever is troubling them, so that eventually
they feel happier and more settled. In addition, children generally become better able to regulate their
emotions, and learn to express their wishes and needs more effectively. They can experience
improvements in self-esteem and confidence, and an increased sense of well-being.
I always see parents for an initial consultation before starting sessions with the child.

I see clients at Oru Space in East Dulwich.

Please kindly note that I only see self funding clients. I do not work with any private medical insurance providers.
