The majority of our therapists are available for online therapy sessions (although Dr Sharlene Akenyemi is not available for online counselling ).
All sessions take place on Zoom, Skype or Facetime depending on your preference. It is very quick and easy to do, all you need is a private space and an internet connection.
There are many benefits to having online counselling:
- Sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home in a confidential environment.
- Online therapy is just as effective as in person counselling and is helpful when treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, as well as a range of other problems.
- It can help to avoid any potential travelling issues which can benefit those who cannot travel easily.
- Online counselling sessions are far more flexible than in person sessions for those with a busy schedule.
