Lucy Thomas is a former family solicitor, having worked at leading London family law firms Withers LLP and Hughes Fowler Carruthers.
Lucy now practises exclusively as a Family Mediator but with a grounding in family law and knowledge of the court process, she can help couples to consider their decisions in a family law context.
Lucy has also worked in the public and voluntary sectors developing family, community and youth justice policy. She is a qualified Restorative Justice practitioner and has been a Referral Order Panel Member in the youth justice system for a number of years. Lucy trained as a mediator with the Family Mediators Association and is a Family Mediation Council accredited mediator (FMCA). She also works with Lambeth and Wandsworth Mediation Services as a family, community, and intergenerational mediator.
If you are separating or getting divorced there are difficult decisions to make about your future. Mediation can help you and your partner work together to find solutions or resolve differences over arrangements for your property, finances or children, without having to ask the courts to decide for you. Mediation can take place at any stage even where legal proceedings have been started. It works well alongside other services such as counselling, legal advice and financial services. Lucy can help signpost clients to these professionals. Lucy also helps deliver ‘Restored Lives’ workshops for those looking to move on from the difficulty of relationship breakdown.
Lucy Thomas sees clients online and face to face in the Circle Psychology Partners consultation rooms in East Dulwich. Please click here to contact Lucy for an appointment.
