I am a registered Clinical Psychologist, having completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology as well as a PhD. I am passionate about helping people improve and maintain their psychological, emotional and overall wellbeing. I aim to provide a relaxed and collaborative therapeutic space for individuals to explore their experiences. Together, we work towards specific treatment goals, aiming to gain an understanding of difficulties and developing new, lasting skills for the future.
I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing mental health and related difficulties. These include low mood and depression, anxiety disorders (e.g. panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety), eating disorders (e.g. anorexia and bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), body image concerns, low self-esteem, perfectionism and relationships difficulties. I also have experiencing working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental (e.g. autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder) and neuropsychological
I have had training and experience in the delivery of a range of evidence-based psychological treatments. These include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), systemic therapy, Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), mindfulness, motivational interviewing and parenting interventions. Whilst I predominantly work using CBT, I will integrate this with other approaches in order to adapt therapy to individual needs. Overall, I aim to provide individualised psychological therapy informed by the latest research, within a therapeutic space that feels safe, collaborative, helpful and hopeful.
I am able to offer both face-to-face and virtual sessions.
