I am a HCPC-registered clinical psychologist in East Dulwich, Southeast London and have worked across NHS mental health services and the charity sector. I have experience supporting people with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including challenges related to drug and alcohol use.
I have a particular interest in working with people who have experienced trauma or difficult life events, including childhood trauma, PTSD, or complex trauma. I also support people with anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem, difficulties managing emotions, and relationship difficulties.
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring our work to suit your individual needs.
My aim is to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Together, we will make sense of what has been happening for you and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. We will regularly check in on how therapy is going to ensure it stays focused on what matters most to you.
My approach to therapy is based on an understanding that the ways we cope often make sense in the context of our past experiences, even if they no longer feel helpful now. Sometimes this can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or on edge. In therapy, we can begin to understand these patterns and find new ways forward that feel more manageable and aligned with the life you want.
