I am a child and adolescent Psychotherapist based in Southeast London, with many years experience. I have worked in schools, charities and private practice. My expertise is in working with a broad range of emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties with family and peers. In addition, I have worked with  more complex mental health difficulties including self-harm, trauma and those who have experienced abuse. I am also experienced working with children and young people with neurodiversity for example ASD and ADHD as well as those struggling with identity.
I tailor my approach to provide the most effective support for the individual. Using a variety of techniques including art, play and talking therapy which is developmental and age appropriate. Drawing from aspects of theory and practise from many therapeutic traditions. This includes person centred, attachment based, psychodynamic and CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) approaches.
I am skilled in understanding what children and young people are trying to communicate. Through listening to what they say, observing their behaviour and their play, I support them to understand thoughts and feelings which can be overwhelming or too complicated for them to make sense of. My approach is warm, caring, empathetic and accepting of all.

I see clients at Oru Space in East Dulwich.

Please kindly note that I only see self funding clients. I do not work with any private medical insurance providers.
