I am a qualified and fully registered consultant clinical psychologist in Southeast London. I have over 20 years experience working in the NHS. In addition to my private practice, I hold a senior role at East London NHS Trust.
Since completing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2009, I have worked psychotherapeutically with adults of all ages, specialising in working with people living with long term physical health conditions, older adults experiencing psychological distress, individuals coping with birth-trauma and issues around infertility, as well as individuals coping with stress and burnout.
I adopt a collaborative and warm approach when working with people and aim to develop an individualised, tailor-made approach to understanding difficulties. I have trained in a number of specialist psychological models including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), solution focused therapy alongside systemic and narrative approaches. This enables me to work flexibly and ensures the therapy matches a person’s specific situation and preferences.
