I am a Clinical and Developmental Psychologist who has worked in the NHS since 2004. I have therapeutic experience with a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety and trauma. I have a particular interest in understanding the communication and emotional needs of infants and toddlers and in working with their parents to help get the parent-child relationship off to the best start.
I am also always interested in a client’s early relationships and how these have contributed to the strengths, difficulties and types of relationships they have in adulthood.
I completed my doctoral training in Clinical Psychology in 2009, and subsequently completed a PhD on the topic of maternal mental health and child development. I have also completed training in various types of therapy, which I believe has allowed me to become a flexible practitioner, adjusting interventions to best suit an individual client. However, I believe what is most important in psychological therapy is the fit between a therapist’s style and the client’s needs, and I pay close attention to this in my work.
I see clients in my consulting rooms in Dulwich Village.
