I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and I have worked in the NHS since 2003. My training gave me a foundation in a range of therapeutic models such as CBT, systemic, narrative and psychodynamic therapy. This enables me to work in an integrative way that fits with each person’s difficulties. In therapy I work in partnership with the individual to develop a shared understanding of the challenges.
I work with people experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, relationships and grief. I have experience of supporting individuals and families to negotiate life events which have had a negative practical and emotional impact on daily life. I have a special interest in dementia and understanding the impact of cognitive changes on functioning and wellbeing. I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC) and I complete on-going training and professional development to maintain my registration.
I have experience of supervision, consultation and management within the NHS. I regularly teach on the Doctorate programme at Salomons, Canterbury Christchurch University.
I see clients online and face to face in East Dulwich.
