I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means I am trained to doctoral level in a variety of therapies to provide evidenced based interventions to individuals, couples, young people and families of all ages and all backgrounds. I work accordance with the guidance set by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), and I have experience supporting adults, children and adolescents with a range of issues including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic attacks/anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-harm, chronic pain, chronic fatigue. I also work with behavioural difficulties in children and young people, including providing parenting support using Webster-Stratton. Prior to this, I worked in mental health research.
I offer individual sessions with adults and children and I also offer family therapy sessions where this would be helpful. I offer a variety of different therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Systemic approaches.
