About My Coaching Practice

As an executive coach I provide leadership coaching on a one-to-one basis. I work with high achievers to help them reach their potential, explore their ambitions, identify obstacles, I support them to improve business performance, work life balance, stress management, communication skills, relationships, team performance and to make important decisions. My wealth of experience and expertise in psychological approaches to coaching can quickly help my clients see the root cause of their challenges and how best to deal with them.
My coaching style is honest, compassionate, supportive yet also challenging and results driven. I ask my clients to be prepared to go on a journey to explore, harness or challenge their assumptions, beliefs and values in order to make tangible gains towards their professional and sometimes personal goals. I provide a safe and confidential space for any concerns whilst also offering you accountability and support.
My experience includes work with barristers, high court judges, investment bankers, consultants, doctors, actors, entrepreneurs, creatives and many other high performing professionals.

More About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Coach, Entrepreneur and mother of two. I am highly driven and motivated and most definitely a perfectionist. Growing up in Germany, I came from a modest background, raised by a single mother. Initially I did not give it my all at school, having to retake an entire year at school when I was 14, until I met a couple of inspirational teachers. They made me believe in myself and I started to work hard. In year 10 I decided that I wanted to leave Germany and complete my A-levels in the UK to claw back the extra year I took whilst I repeated year 8 (German A-levels took three years instead of two years in the UK). I wrote a four-page letter to the Head of Boarding at Adams College in WemShropshire, why I was the right fit for the school and why I should be given a bursary place at the school. I got one!

At Adams, I crossed paths with yet another inspirational teacher who urged me to apply to Oxford University. In 2001, I was awarded one of the top five results in the country for A-level Psychology, The Kate Neal Scholarship and a place at New College, Oxford University to read Human Sciences. Since leaving Oxford, I have continued my academic and professional pathway, studying at The Open University (Graduate Diploma), Queen Mary’s University of London (MSc), University College London (Doctorate) to become a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Henley Business School as an Executive Coach.

During my doctorate course at UCL I had my first daughter, taking a year off my studies. As soon as I graduated and alongside my NHS work, I set up a private practice in Dulwich as a clinical psychologist. Soon my second daughter was born, and my small private practice grew into Circle Psychology Partners. My path has helped me understand that achieving a balance in life whilst also managing a business is no mean feat. Yet I have also learned that harnessing perfectionism, believing in yourself and having tenacity can lead to living a meaningful and successful life. I am proud of the work my team does at Circle Psychology Partners and I feel privileged to be able to inspire, coach and help others

I see clients online as well as in my consulting rooms in Dulwich Village.

‘I am able to express myself freely with Christine so that we have clear aspects to focus on. Identified clear steps to follow in the next 6 months starting with set goals in the first month.’ I.U., Marketing and Communication Manager, Spain

‘I started my sessions cold – not knowing where it was going to lead and only a summary understanding of what I was feeling. However Christine was able to ask the right questions at the right time to get an understanding of the route problem. I’ve come away with workable tasks to cement in the learning that happened in our meetings and to push me outside of our scheduled time. Overall, my sessions with Christine are unbelievably helpful and give me better insights to my own feelings and thoughts than I thought were possible.’ J.R. Accountant, UK
