Clinical Psychologist in East Dulwich, DClinPsy, PGDip, BSc (Hons)
Headshot Dr Briggs Clinical Psychologist London

I am a Clinical Psychologist in South London, registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and have worked in the NHS since 2011. I have experience of working in a range of settings. For instance, I have worked with community mental health teams for working age and older adults. I have also worked with acute inpatient services and learning disability teams.

As such, I have helped adults, children and families to address a range of issues. I provide therapy for anxiety, panic, low mood, low self-esteem, psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

My aim is to create a therapeutic space where we can work together to address your current concerns. Furthermore, I aim to help you to make meaningful change in your life. I mainly work using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective. However, I will integrate this approach with a range of therapy models. This enables me to tailor the pace and style of our work to your specific needs and circumstances. I have experience of Compassion-Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have undertaken specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and Family Intervention for Psychosis (FIp) at the Institute of Psychiatry. Currently, I work in an Autism assessment service in the NHS.

Clients are able to book sessions with me online as well as in my consulting rooms in East Dulwich.
