Chronic Pain

Psychological Therapy can help with chronic pain including:

  • Back, neck, head and face pain.
  • Fibromyalgia.
  • Neuropathic pain.
  • Pain related physical injuries e.g. road traffic accidents.

Pain can impact mental wellbeing and lead to depression, anxiety, frustration and anger. It can lead to insomnia and relationship problems. Many clients can feel misunderstood by medical professionals and loved ones alike as pain is a very subjective experience.

Our therapists can help with pain management strategies and the impact pain has on mood. They are trained to deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help with chronic pain.
