I am a Counselling Psychologist and Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in South London, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I offer a calm, thoughtful, and compassionate space for adolescents, adults, and parents who are finding things emotionally difficult or are going through periods of change. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.

My approach is primarily psychodynamic, which means I am interested in understanding your experiences in depth — including how past relationships and life events may continue to shape how you feel in the present. I work gently and at your pace, helping make sense of thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may feel confusing or overwhelming. Where helpful, I also draw on systemic ideas and CBT-informed tools to support practical change alongside reflection.

Support for Adults
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems, trauma, grief, and the impact of major life transitions. Some people come to therapy with a clear difficulty they want help with; others arrive feeling unsettled, stuck, or curious to understand themselves more deeply. I also support adults during significant transitions such as becoming a parent, fertility and perinatal challenges, separation or divorce, and loss. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of experiences that may feel heavy or hard to hold alone.

Support for young people
Adolescence can be a time of intense pressure and uncertainty. I offer a safe, non judgmental space for teenagers to talk openly about what is going on for them — whether that is anxiety, low mood, school stress, friendship difficulties, family relationships, identity questions, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions. Therapy can help young people feel better understood, develop emotional awareness, and find ways of
coping that feel more manageable. I also work in an affirming way with neurodivergent teenagers and those living with disabilities, adapting therapy to suit each individual’s needs and strengths.

Support for Parents
I offer a reflective and supportive space for parents who want help thinking about their child’s emotional world and behaviour, from toddlerhood through to the teenage years. Parenting can raise complex feelings and uncertainties, especially when a child is struggling. In parent sessions, we work together to understand what may be going on beneath the surface for your child, while also considering practical ways to support them at home and within family life. This approach aims to strengthen relationships, increase confidence, reduce feelings of worry or isolation and to enable positive change for the child and the family.

My Experience and Approach
I have experience working with a wide range of presentations and with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I also have a strong research background, with a particular focus on early intervention and the perinatal period, which informs my clinical work and ensures it is grounded in evidence and developmental understanding.

At the heart of my work is a belief that emotional distress often has meaning and deserves to be understood with care. I aim to help young people, adults, and parents feel listened to, supported, and less alone, and to gently develop new ways of relating to themselves and others with greater compassion and clarity.
