Dr Helen Lister CPsychol, DClinPsy, BSc (Hons) I have been registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology since 2012 and have worked within the NHS as a qualified clinical psychologist since this time. My training consisted of a range of therapies with a specific focus upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Systemic Approaches.   I desire to provide a therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe and supported at a time when you may be feeling at your most vulnerable. I believe in person-centred care therefore it is important for me to tailor therapy to each individual, couple or family whilst taking into account the evidence base of recommended psychological interventions I aim to help you explore and develop an understanding of your current difficulties using a collaborative focus as together we work towards achieving your goals. I am experienced in working with adults presenting with anxiety, depression, panic, stress, anger, bereavement, memory difficulties, physical illness, adjustment, and trauma.  My special interest is in supporting adults experiencing uncertainly, change, loss and bereavement. I see clients in my consulting rooms in West Norwood.
